The final match of the 2009 4-Ball Match Play Championship was contested this Saturday. The results of the tournament and the championship points update are attached files to this e-mail.
Golf at The Ranch next week:
Wednesday skins at noon for 18 and about 2:15 for the twilight 9.
Friday… tee times are at noon.
Saturday…tee times begin at 11:00.

Don't forget the "Ranch Open House" next Thursday (the 5th) evening. Call the Pro Shop and let them know you're coming. It costs nothing …. snacks and drinks included. Come hear what's going on at The Ranch for 2010.
If you plan to play in the Moreno Valley High School Golf Fundraiser on Thursday the 12th…..Please call Brandon and let him know you will be there. The next generation of players need our help.
I will be sending out the RSVP for the Dec. 4th (Friday) Year End dinner and Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament next week. There will be golf prior to the evenings festivities. All members and their significant others are welcome to attend and play. There are $700 worth of prizes that will be awarded to the best players. The Men's Club picks up the tab for food & prizes. The buy-in for poker is $10. There will be a blackjack table for a second chance at a prize if you go out early in the poker tournament.
I will be sending out a request for shirt sizes for 2010 Team Play players next week also. Please respond quickly as I need to commit to get the best price. The team colors again this year will be red shirt…black hat and black pants or shorts. If you wish to play and have not let me know….now would be a good time!
Lastly the November event is scheduled for the 14th (Saturday). The format is "Triple PLay". Starting on Valley…two man scramble….to Lake 2-man best ball and finishing on Mountain with 2-man aggregate. It is pick your partner member or guest. The sign-up deadline is Wednesday November 11th. Call the Pro-shop today.

Next match is Heim & Cacciapaglia vs. Curtis & Leuer. The winner of that match faces Miller & Tejeda for the championship.
Golf This Week:
The course is coming along nicely The first over seeded 9’s are looking very green. Lake was mowed for the first time last week. Greens are healing and not very many days away from perfection.
Losing daylight so we will start moving tee times to accommodate.
Wednesday skins…18 hole tee time is at 1:00 9 hole at 3:00.
Friday tee times begin at noon.
Saturday…tee times begin at 11:00.
Next Men’s Club event is the ever popular triple play. All three 9’s played. Pick your partner member or guest. The date is Saturday November 14th. The sign up sheet is in the pro shop. Deadline is Wednesday November 11th.
Remember to reserve December 4th for the year end festivities.
