Attached to this e-mail are the results of last Saturday’s 3-man blind draw as well as the points championship update for April.
The next event is our first major of the year….The Bringhurst Pro/Am. It is scheduled to be contested on Friday May 21st with a 10:30 shotgun start. This event is one of the highlights of our year. It is a 2-man team event with a Pro…best 2 of 3 balls. On Saturday the 22nd we will have our 2nd annual winner take all invitational for the amateurs that participated in Friday’s festivities.
In the next few days, you will be receiving additional information from me regarding this event and our charitable fund raising for children’s charities supported by the Moreno Valley Optimist Club.

Pay attention….this Saturday is a travel day!!!!!!
Wednesday skins start at 2:00.
Friday tee times begin at 1:20.
Saturday…I have 24 spots for Goose Creek beginning at 1:00. The rate is $49. I will adjust the tee times on Thursday morning so you must get to me by Wed. evening if you would like to play…otherwise I will cancel all tee times not spoken for. By the way if you say you’re coming…please be there.

Lots of info this week so pay attention.
Wednesday skins at 2:00.
Friday tee times begin at 1:00.
Final reminder for the 3-man blind draw on Saturday. Tee times begin at 11:00. Let me know or call the shop. Deadline is Wednesday night. I will send tee times out on Thursday, so get yourself signed up! There is something for everyone in this event! I have attached a word file with the names of those that have signed up so far. I know that there are a lot of other guys planning to play in this event.
Attached to this e-mail is a PDF file of the volunteer form for the Soboba Classic. Seems early, but a lot of planning goes into an event of this type. Volunteers are a big part of the event. If you would like to be a volunteer please fill out the attached form and leave it at the pro shop and we will pick it up and get it to the right people.
Starting in May we will begin to do some traveling to various courses in the area for a Saturday away game. If you have any requests for possible venues for our summer travel series….let me know and we’ll see if we can get a rate and a date. Also…there seems to be some interest in doing an over-nighter some weekend with a couple of days of golf. If you might have interest in that…let me know.

We held our annual HackMasters event this past Saturday. Congratulations to our gross winners Eric Murphy and Rick Turner paired with Tiger Woods and Ryan Moore. Our net champions were Larry Sandoval and John Leuer paired with Tiger Woods and Camilo Villegas.
Golf this week at The Ranch:
Wednesday skins. Tee times begin at 1:40.
Friday tee times begin at 2:00.
Saturday tee times begin at 11:00
Our next Men’s Club event is scheduled for Saturday April 24th. The format is a 3-man blind draw…best 2 balls of 3 gross and net. All players will be entered into a random draw by handicap. A 3-man team will be selected. The lowest handicapper of the three will tee it up from the black tee markers. The middle handicapper from the blue and the higher handicapper of the group will play from the white markers.
If you haven’t yet played in one of our events this would be a good one to try. You will play on a team with varied skill levels. Since it is 2 scores out of the 3 there is not a lot of pressure on any one player. It will give you a chance to meet some of your fellow members that you may not have had the pleasure of meeting. The deadline for sign up is Wednesday evening the 21st. You can sign up in the pro shop or let me know by e-mail.

Golf at The Ranch this week:
Wednesday Skins…18 hole tees off at 2:00. The twilight 9 hole game will go off around 4:00
Friday…tee times begin at 2:00.
Saturday is our annual “HackMasters” tournament. The format is 2-man best ball. At the end of the Saturday round your team will pick 2 players from the field at The Masters. One from the top half and one from the bottom half. Their Sunday scores will be added to your teams best ball score on Saturday for the total for your team. The winners will be announced by e-mail Sunday night.
You can pair with a member or bring a guest that has an established verifiable handicap. There will be gross and net winners. Our usual games will be afoot. If you do not have a partner sign up as a single and we will hook you up. Deadline for sign up is Wednesday night the 7th. Tee times will go out Thursday. The first tee time is at 11:00.
Don’t forget the 3-man blind draw on the 24th. Sign up deadline is Wednesday the 21st.
